Our Client is a well-established and successful Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit, who are looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer within the Midlands region. You will be conducting a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance and remedial duties across a mix of Commercial, Local Authority and Public Sector sites. We can consider candidates based in: Solihull, Coventry, Nuneaton, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Walsall, Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth, Rugeley, Stafford, Telford, Hinckley, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Lutterworth, Leicester, Wigston, Coalville, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Burton upon Trent, Castle Donnington, Derby, Nottingham.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer for a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit
- Must hold the Level 2 Plumbing as a minimum (NVQ or City & Guilds)
- It would be desirable but not essential to hold the G3 Vented & Unvented ticket
- Hands-on experience with Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed Systems would be ideal
- Excellent technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 guidelines
- Adaptable and flexible work ethic
The Role:
- Working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer, servicing a wide range of Client sites
- CWST Cleans & Disinfections
- Showerhead Descales
- Installations of CWST, Unvented Cylinders and RPZ valves
- Servicing and Installation of TMVs
- Water Sampling and Temperature Monitoring
- Completing detailed service reports
- Working individually on projects as well as within teams
