Are you an experienced supervisor looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for an Cleaning and waste shift supervisor to oversee cleaning and waste management operations at a state-of-the-art logistics facility in Solihull.
Role Overview
As the Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality service, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining efficient operations. You'll be leading a team, managing daily tasks, and working closely with colleagues to meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
" Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and waste management activities.
" Monitor and manage staff performance, attendance, and training.
" Conduct quality and health & safety audits, addressing non-conformances promptly.
" Collaborate with clients to build strong working relationships.
" Ensure all team members comply with health and safety procedures.
" Handle grievances and disciplinary issues in line with company policies.
" Drive continuous improvement by implementing effective processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
" Proven experience supervising teams in cleaning or waste management.
" Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and legislation.
" Competent with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
" Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
" Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively.
