A Legal Contracts Manager is required to join a Software and consultancy business on a Part-time basis permanently for 2 or 3 days per week.
This is a newly created role working closely with the Operations Manager as their first legal hire.
About the Company
The company's client base is growing quickly, securing large-scale customers both in the UK and globally. The company provides automation products on a subscription basis through Microsoft 365 and also provides a consultancy service to its clients.
The Legal Contracts Manager role;
The successful Legal Contracts Manager will be;
- Assisting the Operations Manager with general commercial contracts for the business
- Responding to challenges to the company's terms of conditions
- Reviewing and responding to requests for clarification and revision on standard agreements
- Reviewing and amending Terms of Business
- Challenges to DPA from customers
- WDevelop and implement a structured playbook and response matrix
- Compliance-led project work
The successful Legal Contracts Manager will have;
- Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Experience of dealing with challenges to the company's contracts
- Understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations would be advantageous
