Are you an experienced financial professional, who has the ability to complete high-quality administration tasks as well as provide client service support? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services Client Executive to join a well-established financial services company, based in their beautiful rural office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding current client business, as well as attracting new clients. You will also assist with administrative tasks including report writing, pre-meeting preparation and updating cash flow models. Duties include:

  • Providing hands-on client support to maintain existing relationships and to bring new clients on board.
  • Handling incoming calls confidently and effectively, maintaining professional communication with clients.
  • Conducting thorough analysis of client needs, developing cash flow models as needed, and accurately documenting client data.
  • Preparing client reviews, assessing investment performance, and producing relevant reports.
  • Addressing general client enquiries and attending client meetings when necessary.
  • Preparing pre-meeting and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Managing advisor expectations and serving as a communication liaison for the administration team.
  • Assisting clients and advisers by researching and analysing client needs.
  • Tracking cases to ensure timely and accurate updates on all ongoing work.
  • Organising new business files, maintaining client files and back-office IT records.
  • Assisting with developing financial planning solutions encompassing investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning.
  • Welcoming and assisting clients and visitors.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of research systems e.g. Voyant.
  • Knowledge of final salary pension transfer market would be desirable.
  • A high degree of self-management and initiative.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
  • Confident in communicating with both clients and colleagues.
  • Mathematically minded with strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • The ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
