ALLOY WHEEL TECHNICIAN
 
Salary:£30,160 - £31,280
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4:30pm
Location: Birmingham
 
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Alloy Wheel Technician to join our client. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art body shop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.
As an Alloy Wheel Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal and performance of vehicles by repairing and refurbishing alloy wheels.
This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
 
Duties as an Alloy Wheel Technician include:
·Conduct thorough inspections of alloy wheels to identify damage, scratches, dents, and other imperfections.
·Prepare & Paint the wheels  per the detailed instruction, using appropriate tools.
·Diamond cutting experience required
·Carrying out small alloy wheel repairs
·Mix paint to ensure a perfect match
·Perform quality checks on completed alloy wheel repairs to guarantee customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
·Maintain detailed records of repairs
 
Skills and Qualifications of an Alloy Wheel Technician:
·Previous experience as an Alloy Wheel Painter
·Experience with water-based paint
·Diamond Cutting
·Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
·Full UK driving licence
