Senior Electronics Engineer

Contract Electronics Engineer- up to 60 ph outside IR35
Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Contract Length: 6 months initially

KO2 is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with a Birmingham-based client. This role involves working on a battery-powered Smart IoT device that integrates sensor data with AI to make intelligent decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Join as the sole Electronics Engineer on this in-flight project, working closely with a Mechanical Design Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer.
• Design and verify electronics layouts in Altium, ensuring they are ready for high-volume manufacturing.
• Make necessary design changes to achieve EMC compliance.
• Manage the full electronics lifecycle, from analogue and digital circuit design to design for manufacturability (DFM).
