The role:

This exciting role offers an opportunity to support the implementation of strategic projects and manage key events across the organisation for a 12-month period, with the potential for extension based on success. The post holder will be responsible for setting the event strategy and overseeing key events, some of which will involve working with external partners. The role is crucial in driving collaboration and delivering innovative solutions to enhance the organisation's strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager and working closely with the Strategic Lead and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bringing projects to life through marketing initiatives and event management.

Responsibilities:

- Lead marketing contributions to key projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Create marketing materials and collaborate with internal/external creative teams and agencies.

- Define success metrics, track KPIs, and ensure timely project delivery.

- Coordinate event strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with objectives and brand guidelines.

- Manage event budgets, relationships with suppliers, and track ROI.

- Oversee planning and execution of key events, including conferences, exhibitions, and internal initiatives.

- Develop toolkits and processes for smooth event management and stakeholder engagement.

- Build partnerships and explore cross-collaborations to enhance the event programme.

- Support cross-functional teams in delivering marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency and cohesion across projects.

- Conduct post-event evaluations and develop strategies to improve future event performance.

- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation in event management and marketing strategies.

Candidate Criteria:

- Proven experience in marketing project management and event planning (5+ years).

- Strong skills in KPI development, ROI measurement, and budget management.

- Expertise in managing suppliers, agencies, and multi-stakeholder environments.

- Solid understanding of B2B/B2C marketing, customer journeys, and digital marketing channels.

- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with strategic thinking, event systems/software, and CRM tools.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure valuable partnerships and supplier agreements.
