A multi-national organisation in Solihull has approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for an Assistant Finance Analyst. The organisation has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent years and are looking to continue to bolster their finance function. The role will see an ambitious finance professional with a strong excel ability shadow a finance analyst and produce reports independently on the P&L. There is a focus on profitability in this role which provides a fantastic opportunity for an individual to gain exposure to the commercial aspect of a large business.

This business are looking for an individual who is confident using Excel, and has experience working with the P&L and balance sheet. Skills Required- As an Assistant Finance Analyst you will be working directly with the Senior Finance Analyst, who will be able to assist you in your duties. It is crucial to be confident in your communication style, as you will be interacting with senior stakeholders on a daily basis.
- To have prior experience with month end accounting tasks, such as posting journals, completing reconciliations on the balance sheet and working with the P&L.
- To be either currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have passed a number of examinations in one of these qualifications.
- To have a strong ability using Microsoft Excel and being confident in manipulating data and using formulas such as Vlookups, XLookups, Conditional Formatting and Pivot Tables.
