Our client, a well-established construction business based in Solihull, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong management accounting expertise and a background in construction to take on a key role within a growing organisation.
The RoleAs Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring robust financial control, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Overseeing cash flow management and financial controls
- Supporting project cost analysis and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards
- Managing and mentoring a small finance team
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified or Qualified Accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant
- A background in construction, civil engineering, or a related sector
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner with operational teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Salary up to £65,000 + bonus
