Description

  • Prepare, analyse, and report monthly financial information, ensuring timely, accurate, complete, and compliant reporting.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a supportive and professional working environment.
  • Ensure UK compliance with internal controls and maintain an appropriate risk management system covering all financial, legal, and tax implications.
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and implement financial control procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage UK tax compliance and governance activities, including VAT and Corporation Tax liabilities.
  • Liaise with the company's tax advisers and head office tax team. Develop processes for new legislation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to present financial information and reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support the company's strategic objectives through robust financial management.

Profile

  • ACA, CA, ACCA OR CIMA qualified
  • Practical experience in controlling/accounting/audit and IFRS/FRS 101
  • Critical thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Strong communicator
  • High level of personal ownership and autonomy
  • Prioritisation to ensure all key deadlines are met
