Currently exclusively supporting a client on a fantastic new role for an FP&A Manager for 4 sites across the UK and US of a large US PE backed business. The role is exciting with lots of chances to add value to the current FP&A team, reporting directly to the Finance Director and the Group FP&A Director. The role is flexible to remote or hybrid working at the Solihull site.

This role see you take responsibility for reporting / monitoring of your 4 sites being the first point of contact for VP`s, Sales Director and IT Director in regards to reporting, analysis and planning. You will provide managers with information relating to their performance against budget, analyse key variances in order to ensure continued accuracy of the monthly/annual figures and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes for each site (to include the improvements of the budget & forecast model using power BI and other data tools).

This role will see you getting 'out and about' in the business in your effort to understand the drivers of the business performance, and build effective relationships / networks across the company, therefore a proactive approach, engaging communication style and a commercially-focused candidate is needed…

Ideally, you will:

  • Be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or QBE) with experience of preparing management reports and variance analysis to an accurate level
  • Be used to working at pace, demonstrating the organisational skills to effectively balance many different priorities simultaneously in PE environment
  • Have experience of a similar role (i.e. financial analysis, financial planning, coordination of budgeting, etc.) in another fast-paced US manufacturing business
  • Demonstrate instances in which you have been able to add tangible value to directly aid the performance of a business / business unit
  • Be experienced using power BI, Datalake, and D365
