Client Relationship Manager (Senior Financial Planning Administrator)

Solihull - Hybrid Working - to £35,000 plus bonus plus benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Client Relationship Manager to join a well-established Wealth Management firm in Solihull. This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive professional with experience in financial services, looking to take the next step in their career. The firm is known for providing high-quality client service and tailored financial planning solutions.

The Role

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, ensuring smooth business processes, and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and financial providers. You will work closely with Advisers, Paraplanners, and Administrators to ensure outstanding service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate records and data integrity

  • Prepare client files for meetings, including gathering reports and supporting documents

  • Handle client queries directly or coordinate with Advisers for resolutions

  • Process and submit new business applications for financial products, liaising with providers

  • Conduct KYC and AML checks to ensure regulatory compliance

  • Maintain and update back-office systems with client details and portfolio changes

  • Assist in the preparation of suitability reports and financial documents

  • Provide training and mentorship to Administrators, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, platforms, and third-party professionals

  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory standards are met, supporting audits and regulatory reviews

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in an IFA or financial services environment

  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, with experience liaising with providers

  • Proven track record of managing new business processing from submission to completion

  • Understanding of compliance, regulatory procedures, and data security

  • Experience managing client relationships and portfolios

  • Familiarity with CRM/back-office systems

  • Exposure to team leadership, mentoring, or acting as a point of escalation

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to streamline workflows
