About the role:You will be required to provide training to new and existing employees for Forklift trucks on both Reach and Counterbalance vehicles, Tow truck/tractors (Such as Bradshaw Vehicles), Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT), and other MHE on site at our client's premises across the UK. Conduct training sessions in person ensuring participants understanding and engagement. This role will have responsibility to ensure that you fully comply to company policy on health and safety in aspects to your working environment. You will conduct manual handling training with employees, inclusive of DSE Evaluation, workplace risk assessments and toolbox talk sessions. The role will require you to engage with customers on site, remaining professional at all times and complete safety assessments at our client sites.

Some EU travel (approx 3 days per year)Some night shifts (approx 2 weeks per year) will be required to support the night workers

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all site staff are trained and compliant to be conducting their individual roles in regard to safety.Facilitate comprehensive training sessions for internal forklift/MHE operators, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of our organization, considering unique operational requirements and safety protocols. Create a positive learning environment.Stay informed about updates in forklift technology, safety standards, and instructional methodologies.Organise educational materials and resources.Collaborate closely with operational teams to understand specific challenges and requirements.

Candidate requirements* UK Driver's license (Required).* Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach Instructor certification i.e. RTITB/ITTSAR (Required).* Tow Truck Training certification (Required).* Proven record in training delivery - at least 2 years.* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.* Strong instructional and communication skills. * Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and captivate participants. * Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate various learning styles.* Excellent organizational and documentation skills.* The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or part of a busy team.* Good attention to detail.
