- Salary: £13.32 per hour for AM shifts and a premium allowance of £15.32 per hour for hours worked after 19:00hrs
- Experience required: Previous customer service experience, comfortable with heavy lifting, C1 Driving Licence, Valid CPC & Tacho card, no more than 6 endorsement points for minor offences, experience driving a 7.5t Vehicle
- Hours of work: AM shifts from 06:00 - 17:00hrs, PM shifts from 10:00 - 21:00hrs, Saturday start times at 06:00/07:00hr
- Year of experience required: Experienced 7.5t drivers
- Opportunity for experienced 7.5t drivers based in Shirley to work from 40 to 50 hours per week, delivering white goods, furniture & flatpacks across the country
As a 7.5t Driver your duties will involve home delivery of white goods, furniture & flatpacks using assisting the driver across the country, the radius you will be delivering to is around 120 miles. This is a fantastic opportunity working on behalf of a high end department store.
Information about the 7.5t Driver role:-
- Working in a 2 man crew accompanied with a drivers mate
- Home delivery of white goods and furniture across the country
- You will be starting from the RDC in Shirley where you will load the 7.5t vehicle and then go out on your run
- Excellent levels of customer service required and previous customer service experience is desired
- In house training facilities provided where you will learn the full role
To be successful for this 7.5t driver role you must:-
- Have previous customer service experience
- Experienced and comfortable with heavy lifting
- C1 Driving Licence
- Valid CPC & Tacho card
- No more than 6 endorsement points for minor offences
- Experience driving a 7.5t Vehicle
Hours of work and rates of pay:-
AM shifts - 06:00 - 17:00hrs - (4-5 shifts per week out of Monday to Saturday)
PM shifts - 10:00 - 21:00hrs - (4-5 shifts per week out of Monday to Saturday)
Saturday start times are 06:00/07:00hr starts.
There is potential to progress with an increase in pay when you are trained on installation of goods.
Shift patterns vary and flexibility is key, you must be able to work Saturdays.
Pay rates will be £13.32 per hour for AM shifts and a premium allowance for hours worked after 19:00hrs of £15.32 per hour.
Time plus one half will be paid for all hours completed over 41 per week.
