Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a BI Analyst for a business based in Solihull. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. This is a rounded role which will play a key part in the businesses reporting and give you great exposure to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement unique performance indicators and metrics for comparing multiple areas across the Group.
- Analyse and compile information into spreadsheets, documents, and Power BI reports for management distribution.
- Communicate and educate other departments and executives on the company's financial performance, strategic progress, and future plans.
- Provide detailed commentary to management on the organization's performance in relation to objectives and strategies.
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to convert business requirements into reporting pipelines.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in Power BI, Data Modelling, and Power Query.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of SQL (experience with Snowflake is a plus).
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for formatting.
- Ability to adopt a solution-focused mindset, turning stakeholder requirements into clear, insightful reports.
- A strong commitment to data governance and best practices.
