Role Purpose

The HSEQ Advisor will assist the Company's HSEQ Manager and Site Contract Managers with the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ policies, procedures, and processes within designated contracts, primarily located in the Midlands.

This role will provide on-site HSEQ leadership, developing and implementing best practices and promoting compliance with the business values and HSEQ policies. The Advisor will ensure adherence to current HSEQ legislation, as well as the customer's policies and procedures. They will build effective relationships with the on-site teams and customer representatives, colleagues at other customer sites, and the Central Support functions.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

Essential

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or above
  • Working knowledge of current HSE Legislation
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Health and Safety processes and guidelines (Safety systems support)
  • 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management systems
  • Quality systems (ISO-9001)
  • Environmental systems (ISO 14001)

Desirable

  • Formal internal auditor qualifications
  • Educated to Degree Level
  • Working knowledge/experience of HSEQ systems management
  • Environmental systems.
  • 'Train the trainer'.
  • Internal audits and mentoring auditors
