I'm recruiting for an Oceanfreight Clerk to join an expanding freight company based in the Birmingham area. You must have Import OR Export experience.
Daily duties will include:
- Booking freight with approved carriers / lines
- Developing and building relationships with clients
- Handling queries
- Ensuring pre alert documents are on hand prior to vessel arrival
- Updating customers on shipments
- Arranging collection and delivery
- Liaising with customers and overseas agents
Experience needed:
- Hands on operational experience in an oceanfreight role import OR export
- Strong PC skills
- Minimum 2 years experience working for a freight forwarding company
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
