Senior Commissioning OfficerRate: £23.60 per hour (Negotiable)Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office or occasionally on-site (Wednesdays in office required) Are you experienced in commissioning with a background in social care?We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Officer to join our dynamic team and support key projects across children's services and supported accommodation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the social care sector, who excels in providing support rather than taking the lead. Key Responsibilities: Support-focused role: Provide crucial assistance to senior leaders and project teams.Report Writing: Strong skills in drafting detailed reports and presentations.Stakeholder Management: Effective communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. Requirements: Background in Social Care: Experience within children's social care is ideal; however, candidates with experience in adults’ commissioning (such as supported living) will also be considered.Commissioning Experience: A strong focus on commissioning (needs analysis), rather than procurement. Hybrid Working: Flexibility to work remotely, with Wednesdays in the office and occasional site visits. If you're passionate about making a difference and have the necessary skills to thrive in a supportive commissioning role, we would love to hear from you! To find out more information please contact Lily at  Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
