Are you an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager or looking for a new challenge with a growing and reputable company or a Bid Manager / Estimating Manager / Experience Preconstruction individual looking for your next role in preconstruction?
This role has a great progression opportunity to move up to a Director level role. You should be from a main contracting background and have a broad understanding of the various stages of winning a project and the transition thereafter into project delivery. This should include Planning, programming, pricing, enabling works and all round delivery are requirements and the management of a team to assist with this.
I have an exciting opportunity to join a national main contractor operating across the regional civil engineering sector. This role has no specific location, but the candidate must be willing to travel to meetings as required. You will be working on a varied portfolio of multimillion pound projects and be doing a lot of client facing duties.
The ideal candidate will come from a main contracting background who has experience of working on civil engineering and ground engineering projects; within the power, utilities, structures and highways sector.
What do you need for this role?
- Experience in taking projects from Tender through to completion
- Tendering & Bid Writing Knowledge
- Experience in ECI projects
- Experience managing stakeholders expectations and relationships
- Good understanding of estimating and planning experience
- Good construction methodology, planning and commercial acumen
