Job Title:Surveyor Support Officer

Salary: £24,750 - £25,250

Location:Solihull

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm - Hybrid - 1 day a week in the office

Description:

This role is initially on a 12 month contract but permanent opportunities are likely to arise during this time.

Our client, a well-respected and long-established financial services company based in Solihull is recruiting a Surveyor Support Officer to join their busy team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast paced team and would suit someoneefficient and proactive with great organisational ability, a good eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

In this role you will support the valuation instruction process and provide direct support to the Regional Surveyors. You will also assist other business areas with valuation queries.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all valuations are processed within agreed SLAs
  • Deal with requests or enquires arising throughout the valuation process
  • Book valuation appointments for the regional and duty surveyors
  • Monitor all regional surveyor databases to ensure requests / queries are actioned within SLAs
  • Assist surveyors to ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered to and ensure corporate subscriptions are kept up-to-date
  • Assist other business areas to ensure audit requirements are complied with and the appropriate industry recognition achieved

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • An understanding of the property valuations process and the role of surveyors would be beneficial

In return for your hard work, you will earn a starting salary of£24,750 - £25,250and excellent benefits.
