Art Teacher  - SEMH Qualified art teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with SEMH need. This vibrant school is looking for a dedicated art teacher who can teach art up to GCSE and inspire students to be creative. As an art teacher at this school, you will have access to a wide range of art resources and be given the freedom to deliver lessons that meet the needs and interests of your students.Behaviour can be challenging, so you must be confident in your classroom management skills to be considered for this role. Previous experience within an SEMH setting or alternative provision is desirable, however not essential. This role requires a QTS art teacher and is not suitable for an ECT.Job Role:
  • Teaching art to small classes of students with SEMH needs.
  • Breaking down academic barriers and using art to improve communication.
  • Making art interesting and engaging for students who have become disengaged with education.
  • Utilising a team of experienced Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support.
