The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated General Cover Supply Teacher to work in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators to gain experience in a range of secondary schools. We work with a diverse range of secondary schools and colleges, known for their academic excellence and support. Our client schools are celebrated for their inclusivity and commitment to supporting students from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Most schools have great public transport links and provide on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure high standards of student behavior.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and engage with pupils of all abilities.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.

Requirements

The successful French Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in the UK (preferred but not essential).
• Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for education.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to work across different age groups and subjects.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
