Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Salary: £80 - £90 per day
Start Date: September 2024

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant / TA you will be working with students, which may include outdoor activities and many ways of teaching and supporting children. As well as being a key figure in their lives, our teachers always look for fun and unique ways to be engaging in the classroom!
Schools are in search of a committed and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles. They offer a wealth of experience, enabling you to develop as a teacher with competitive pay rates.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
- Level 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational establishment
- Good communication skills
- Be patient and caring
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
- Strong behaviour management skills
