Are you looking for a rewarding job as a Porter with flexible hours heading towards Christmas? We have an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals in Monkspath, Shirley, working 8-10-hour shifts, any 4 days out of 7 (Weekend availability required).
Job Role:
As a dedicated Porter, your primary responsibility will be to load and unload vehicles on delivery bays in a large warehouse with a variety of goods. You will be part of a two-person crew, working alongside a driver to ensure efficient and careful handling of items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload vehicles at the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Shirley.
- Handle white goods, furniture, and flatpacks with care.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Ensuring and clean and tidy workspace
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- You must be able to commute to Monkspath for 06:00 including weekends
Working Hours and Pay Rates:
- AM Shifts: 06:00 - 17:00 (3-4 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday).
- PM Shifts: 10:00 - 21:00 (3-4 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday).
- Saturday Shifts: 06:00/07:00 starts.
- AM Shift Rate: £11.44 per hour.
- £13.16 per hour after 19:00 hours & weekends.
