About the Role:As HR Manager, you will be the go-to person for all HR matters within the business. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to drive the HR agenda, supporting line managers, and offering expert advice on employee relations, policy development, and strategic initiatives. While the HR Assistant handles recruitment and administration, you will have the opportunity to focus on higher-level HR management and business support, from creating insightful reports to managing the Health & Safety processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with SLT and managers to deliver HR advice and support across a range of areas, including employee relations, policy work, and general HR best practices.

Advising on employee relations issues, although very low volume.
- Producing reports and presenting HR-related insights to the SLT.
- Overseeing health and safety processes, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.

Managing a small team of five receptionists, ensuring their needs are met.
- Developing and contributing to the broader People Strategy Group.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the firm.
- Exercising a high level of autonomy, with the opportunity to shape the role as you see fit.
About You:

Strong experience working in a HR role either standalone or as part of a team, where you have had to be both strategic and hands-on.
- Confident in managing relationships with senior stakeholders, with the ability to handle tricky conversations and complex issues with tact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and build credibility quickly.
- Familiarity with HR processes such as policy development, employee relations, and reporting, though legal expertise is not essential.
- Professional services experience is a plus but not required. What matters most is your ability to drive HR initiatives and support the business effectively.
- A proactive, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with the team.
