SF are thrilled to be working with a fantastic retail business in Solihull who are on the look out for a HR Advisor to come and join their fast-paced team.

We are looking for a strong HR Advisor who has previous experience in dealing with both lower level and complex ER case work end-to-end. Someone who is a strong communicator who is able to provide guidance and support across the business to senior line management and be able to navigate them through the employee life cycle particularly in the following areas; disciplinaries, grievances and the occasional tribunal cases.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in working for a fast-paced, self starting HR team and is confident in communicating in complex situations and will be able to organise their spinning plates throughout their day to day role.

Day to day duties;

- Be the first point of contact, along with your team, for HR queries across the business.
- Providing detailed advice and guidance to senior management in relation to all ER case work.
- Manage long-term absence cases as well as occupational health and employees return to work.
- Develop and maintain relationships between various departments to ensure HR best practice.
- Dealing with ad-hoc projects

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is willing to roll their sleeves up and support with both the advisory and day to day HR side, someone who is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and SLT teams and is able to organise and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

This role will be based in Solihull and will be looking, initially, at fully office based with the idea of hybrid after a period of time. Reporting directly into the HR Manager this role is offering up to £40K per annum and is a full time permanent role.
