- An automotive component manufacturer is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to manage complex projects from concept through to launch phases.
- The ideal candidate should have significant experience in first tier automotive within a just in time environment.
- The salary for this position ranges from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of HNC level education or equivalent experience, along with knowledge of PFMEAs and Six Sigma processes.
- The role is commutable from areas including Birmingham, Coventry, and Warwick.

The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will have the following duties:
-Work with AME team to create, develop and test new processes and equipment.
-Manage multiple suppliers of tooling and capital ensuring timing and cost targets are met.
-Sign off new equipment including the management of run rates and capability studies both in plant and at toolmaker.
The Person
Educated to a minimum of HNC level or holding considerable experience in a relevant role in first tier automotive you will have the following experience:
-Knowledge of AIAG & VDA 7 step structure for PFMEAs.
-Experience in a fast pace just in time or just in sequence environment.
-Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on IT software.
-Experience of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing processes.
-Experience in AutoCAD is advantageous.
