Intervention Claims Handlers

Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 plus bonus (up to 15% annual salary).

Days/ Hours: Hybrid working flexible Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work.

Location: Birmingham Business Park.

MPJ Recruitment are currently representing a fast paced entrepreneurial business who specialise in the motor insurance industry. You will be joining a relatively new business currently employing roughly 40 members of staff but has growth plans in place to reach 200 people.

We are currently looking for Motor Claims Handlers to join our team who have intervention, third party capture, credit hire or repair/booking experience.

This is the perfect time to join a growing and exciting business, as the company grows we will need existing members of staff to step up and take up more responsibility.

As a Intervention Claims Handler:

  • Making calls with the aim of successfully capturing third parties, to achieve commercial goals.
  • Mitigating the cost of your captures by establishing the needs of the third party and following our processes
  • Supporting the follow up process in handling claims and mitigating the claims spend.
  • Ensuring all claims are processed with an eye for potential fraud, exaggeration, and indemnity.
  • Reviewing claims processes and recommending changes. You will also be highlighting missed opportunities, leakage, and areas for improvement.
  • Supporting technical intervention claims matters in respect of questions / escalated customer scenarios and calls/liability referrals etc.
  • Supporting and sharing best practice with the team.
