An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client a well-established business as a Legal Administrator. The successful candidate will a keen interest in pursuing a career in law. They will have the opportunity to prove themselves in an administration-based role for 6 - 12 months and if successful would progress on to working towards their paralegal qualification, and eventually a solicitor apprenticeship.

Duties include:

  • Front of house, meeting and greeting clients and providing refreshments.* Ensuring all meeting rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy to a high standard.* Answering and redirecting telephone calls.* Daily administration jobs including arranging meetings, diary management and appointment making.* Postal duties, preparing and sorting.* Preparation and collation of documents including audio typing, administration and filing.* Supporting all colleagues.* Keeping all the firms and client's documentation and information confidential.* Willing to take responsibility towards self-development and training when asked.

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent administration and secretarial skills.* High degree of self-management and initiative.* Strong IT skills.* Excellent organisation skills.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Strong time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.* The ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.* High standard of English, including spelling and grammar.* Have a keen interest in law and business.* Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
