Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Solihull. This role involves using coordination skills to help achieve day to day goals of the logistics and transport team.
- Pay-11.74 per hour
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00

The Role:
As a Logistics Co-Ordinator, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the driver team.
- Allocate drivers based on skills, abilities, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with drivers to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Liaise with recruitment to ensure optimal driver coverage.
- Build and maintain successful working relationships with drivers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with drivers.
- Coordinate with the Planning Team for smooth journey execution.
- Provide updates to the Customer Service Team.
- Offer out-of-hours emergency cover on a rota basis.
- Respond to emails from team members, other departments, and stakeholders.

- Have excellent interpersonal skills and reliability.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Be IT literate with a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and in-house systems.
