Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic year 3 Teacher to join their successful team immediately. This "good" Primary school offer a supportive and nurturing environment to staff and pupils.

You will have prior key stage 2 specifically year 3 teaching experience and be able to commit to a part time role from Feb to July 2025. Taking full responsibility for teaching the year 3 class 1 day per week.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
  • Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within key stage 2
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
