Office Administrator Required!

Our client has over 30 years of experience in industrial electronic engineering. They specialise in the design and manufacture of control panels and provide expert support in industrial instrumentation and control systems.

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage and support various administrative tasks across purchasing, ERP system operations, and stock control. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.

Package:

  • Salary £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme

Office Administrator - Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and track delivery schedules.
  • Enter and update data accurately, monitor stock levels, and ensure system information is always current.
  • Manage incoming stock, maintain accurate stock records, and assist with inventory checks.
  • Provide admin support across departments, including filing, document management, and responding to internal and external queries.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices, liaise with accounts and suppliers for any discrepancies.

Office Administrator - Requirements:

  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Proven experience in an office administration role, ideally with exposure to stock or purchasing functions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and confident with data entry and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
