As the Communications and Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to build and protect reputation to support business objectives.

You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders and its 80+ sub-brands' online presence, organic reach and community to support reputation and culture. You'll also get involved in delivering some earned media (brand PR)

  • With the support of the Head of Corporate Affairs, develop a social media strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and corporate affairs goals.
  • Create and deliver impactful social media plans (execution of the above strategy) to build trust and credibility among all audiences.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive and easy to navigate editorial content calendar for the business and its sub-brands.
  • Create quality, dynamic content for all platforms to support strategic storytelling in key reputational opportunity areas for Linnaeus including clinical quality, sustainability and employer brand.
  • Publishing, scheduling and evaluating content performance.
  • Community management across platforms and supporting our sites with their community management.
  • Day-to-day management of supporting agency partners for maximum efficiency and integration.
  • Collaborate closely across corporate affairs and the whole organisation to ensure alignment in storytelling and provide support and input where necessary into issues, projects and plans as the subject matter expert.

Provide social media counsel and support for acquisitions, divestments and any other changes to the business

Profile

The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships, passionate about developing social media capability in others and have proven experience delivering social media strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and supports corporate affairs goals
