Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader (Permanent Afternoon Shift)Location: Solihull, UKJob Type: Full-time, OngoingPertemps are seeking a hardworking and reliable Cleaning Team Leader to join our client based in a manufacturing facility in Solihull. As a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, managing a team, completing risk assessment and supporting in the production of method statements for the site.Working Hours and Pay Rates:Please note there is no rotation across shifts and shift times are none negotiable. **Please note that shift start and finish times may vary slightly from what is shown below but they will always be built around the standard timesAfternoon Shift - 1400-2200 Monday to Thursday & 1100-1600 Friday paying £12.11 per hourKey Responsibilities:Clean and maintain production areas, toilets and canteens, including floors, walls, and machines, to ensure a safe and hygienic working environmentOperate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, sweepers, and pressure washersHandle cleaning chemicals safely and ensure that all chemicals are stored appropriatelyDispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and regulationsAdhere to health and safety guidelines at all timesWork collaboratively with the production team to ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectivelyReport any maintenance issues or hazards to the relevant departmentsManage a team of industrial cleaners ensuring all staff are aware of their areas of responsibility and the required standardsSupport in the completion of risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe practices are followed at all timesRequirements:Previous experience as an Industrial Cleaner in a manufacturing environment is preferredPrevious experience leading a teamKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling proceduresAbility to operate cleaning equipment and machineryGood attention to detail and strong work ethicWillingness to work flexible hours as requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks that involve manual labourIf you are a reliable and hardworking individual with a passion for maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity by clicking on the APPLY button.
