Senior Compliance Monitoring Manager | Banking | Solihull/WFH | £70 - 80,000 (doe)

Finitas are delighted to be partnering with an established retail bank in their search for a Senior Compliance Monitoring Manager to join their team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a forward thinking team, with plenty of opportunity for progression, development and enhancing their monitoring team. Reporting into the Head of Compliance Monitoring, you will have an array of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Delivering and managing the Compliance Monitoring plan.
  • Managing the team in the completion of compliance monitoring activities.
  • Producing MI, identifying areas of non-compliance with internal policy, regulatory requirements and the internal control framework.
  • Developing an enthusiastic and engaging team, encouraging open dialogue with all colleagues and driving continuous improvement.
  • Reviewing and challenging existing reporting mechanisms and formats to ensure that Compliance Monitoring reporting is engaging.
  • Representing Compliance Monitoring at stakeholder and client facing meetings.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 7 years compliance monitoring experience.
  • Proven experience of managing a team.
  • Must have experience of compliance monitoring within a retail bank.
  • Strong working knowledge of the FCA handbook, specifically PRIN, SYSC, COCON, CONC, COBS, BCOBS, MCOB, DISP and SUP in addition to the Payment Services Regulations (PSR).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels including senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate risk-based decision making, and the ability to influence key stakeholders to reduce regulatory and conduct risks.
  • Industry qualifications such as the International Compliance Association (ICA) GRC Diploma.

Please note that you will be required to work in their Solihill office twice a week.
