Zest Education are seeking a dedicated primary school teacher to join a school based in Solihull, starting ASAP. You will be required to teach across KS1 on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This will give you the opportunity to have a better work/life balance as well as build a long-lasting relationship with a school.

About the school:

This four form entry school prides itself by having a strong communal feeling in each year group. They have core skills that they want every child to develop as they move through school. As a teacher at this school, you will need to stay in line with the schools ethos and ensure to motivate the students in your lessons.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with other teachers to create engaging lessons and collaborate on classes.
  • Set up the classroom, manage student behaviour and supervise students.
  • Talk to parents/guardians regarding student progress.
  • Attend any relevant meetings or training for professional development.
  • Create a safe. supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Must haves:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with children in an education-based setting.
  • An enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong subject knowledge relating to the National Curriculum.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal and active listening skills.
