Quality Monitoring and Risk Officer

Our client is a very successful bank and specialises in the provision of motor and asset finance and leading facilities for the truck, trailer, bus, coach and specialist vehicles sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing independent pre-completion quality monitoring assessments, committed to reducing risk and improving the customer journey in line with regulation, industry codes and business requirements. Undertaking account level reviews, thematic reviews, customer journey reviews and telephone call monitoring to ensure processes are followed to provide our customers with the best experience possible.

You will support the Motor Finance management team on Risk and Compliance matters as they arise, including preparation of monthly governance reporting and annual reviews on behalf of Motor Finance.

Key Duties

  • Undertake regular quality and compliance assessments and maintain appropriate records of competency for Motor Finance staff
  • Efficiently compile and record audit results and analysis to facilitate the production of monthly management information
  • Deliver constructive feedback on quality monitoring to promote a standard of excellence in all aspects of Motor Finance activity
  • Highlight any risks identified while carrying out reviews immediately to line manager
  • Identify and share best practice across Motor Finance and assist with the development of processes and procedures
  • Assist with the development and delivery of robust quality monitoring processes where the customer journey is at the heart of everything we do
  • verbal communication skills

Experience and understanding of compliance and regulatory standards within a Motor Finance or Financial Services background would be advantageous.
