Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of quality? Do you have experience in the aerospace industry? Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is seeking a talented Quality Inspector to join their team in Solihull.
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality inspection of identified components. You'll be responsible for visually and dimensionally inspecting incoming parts, creating and amending inspection plans through SAP, and collaborating with the engineering team to develop inspection plans for each product.
Summary:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended
- Location: Shirley, Solihull
- Pay Rate: £25.00 - £30.00 dependant on experience - PAYE or Umbrella
- Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday - Working hours can be flexible
Duties Include:
- Inspect specified Incoming parts Inspection Plan(s) visually and dimensionally
- Create and amend Inspection Plans as required through SAP
- Working with the Engineering team to develop Inspection plans for each product
- Create Quality Notifications for defective parts at Goods in
- Run Triage meetings with cross functional teams
- Review FAIR's when required
Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge measurement practices
- Demonstrates professional and credible communication with colleagues, including internal stakeholders (e.g. engineering teams, supply chain team) and external stakeholders.
- Solutions orientated and flexible, without compromising process and product quality.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems including SAP and able to leverage systems to provide data and reports for the benefit of the business.
- Proactive with strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
