About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in retail buying, offering hands-on experience in product selection, supplier coordination, and stock management. You will support the Buying team in delivering a strong product range that meets customer demand while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Buyers in sourcing and selecting products, ensuring they align with market trends and customer needs.
- Communicate with suppliers to track orders, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment decisions to maintain availability.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support product selection and pricing strategies.
- Help manage product samples, including organizing and preparing them for presentations.
- Assist in preparing reports and analyzing sales data to assess product performance.
- Support the team in setting up new product lines, ensuring accurate data entry and pricing updates.
- Liaise with internal teams such as merchandising, marketing, and logistics to ensure seamless product launches.
- Handle general administrative tasks, including purchase order processing, invoice tracking, and database management.
