About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in retail buying, offering hands-on experience in product selection, supplier coordination, and stock management. You will support the Buying team in delivering a strong product range that meets customer demand while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Buyers in sourcing and selecting products, ensuring they align with market trends and customer needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers to track orders, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels and support replenishment decisions to maintain availability.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support product selection and pricing strategies.
  • Help manage product samples, including organizing and preparing them for presentations.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyzing sales data to assess product performance.
  • Support the team in setting up new product lines, ensuring accurate data entry and pricing updates.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as merchandising, marketing, and logistics to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including purchase order processing, invoice tracking, and database management.

What We're Looking For:

  • A keen interest in retail, buying, and product trends.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous retail, buying, or administrative experience is a plus but not essential.
