A superb opportunity for a very experienced deputy manager to work closely with the home manager and the non clinical deputy at this lovely, luxurious and purpose built residential and dementia care home which is part of a very well respected and successful care provider, has arisen .

The home is a medium sized home and is state of the art. This is a superb role for an experienced an ambitious deputy who is looking to take on registration for a care home

The group has a superb reputation and this is an exciting time to be joining this newly built home where you can recruit your own team and support the home manager in developing the reputation of this superb home

Working 40 hours per week supernumerary hours you will work very closely with the General manager and deputise in her absence and lead a team of nurses and unit managers in ensuring quality care is given to all residents .You will have and expect high standards of care.

You will work closely with the staff and be expected to be a 'hands on' and proactive manager. This is a super opportunity for an experienced deputy manager who is looking for 'the next step' in their career or a registered manager looking for a step back.

Liaising with families , GPs and other health care Professionals you will ensure you demonstrate kindness and professionalism and have a good knowledge of care standards, audits, medication, Dols etc.

You will be/ have

A current NMC PIN

a background in care management gained within an elderly care home

You will be a self starter able to motivate your team and ensure the excellent quality of care this provider is known for is delivered

You will have excellent knowledge of care and clinical standards and be passionate about dementia care
