Are you a Care Home Manager looking for a new exciting Opportunity? Our client a luxury care home provider operation outstanding care homes across the UK is seeking a Head of Care to lead their exceptional care home in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a encouraging team and make a real difference in the lives of residents.

This is a role with a competitive salary of £65,000 - £67,000 per year, offering fantastic progression opportunities and a bonus scheme. You'll also enjoy 25 days of leave plus bank holidays, ensuring a great work-life balance.

Our client is a prestigious retirement community featuring 34 exclusive retirement apartments and a 50-bed care home. They provide top-notch residential, dementia, and respite care, ensuring a high quality of life for their residents.

As the Head of Care, you will:

  • Coordinate the resident assessment process
  • Be registered to the Home through CQC
  • Involve residents in identifying their needs and preferences
  • Integrate all relevant information into the initial care plan
  • Oversee the Safe Medication Management programme
  • Ensure robust auditing procedures, including pharmacy-related processes
  • Identify any staff training needs

The ideal Head of Care candidate will have:

  • NVQ 4 in Care
  • preferably clinically qualified RGN/RMN.
  • Two years experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  • Experience with CQC regulations
  • Registered Management is preferable but not essential
  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach.
