Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Care Practitioner for a Childrens Care Home in Solihull.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Care Practitioner to support children and young people in a residential care setting. Your role will focus on creating positive experiences, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Salary: £28,000 per annum / sleep ins are paid at an additional £60 per sleep
Duties of a SeniorResidential Care Practitionerwill include:
Supporting and engaging with children and young people through activities, play, cooking, and personal care
Encouraging independence and involvement in the wider community
Helping with education, health needs, and advocacy
Leading and supervising a team, providing guidance and support
Planning and managing staff shifts
Supporting team development through supervisions and training
Assisting with the daily running of the home and following senior management decisions
Ensuring the home is safe and well-maintained, including health & safety checks
Managing budgets and resources
Keeping accurate records, writing reports, and attending meetings
Working with external agencies and professionals
Creating, updating, and following care plans and risk assessments
In order to be considered for the role of a SeniorResidential Care Practitioner:
NVQ Level 3 Childrens residential Or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner
Experience in a children's home setting
Supervisory experience
Passion to help nurture young people
Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
Full, UK Driving License
Hours of Work: 8am 10pm (2 on / 4 off) (between 6-8 sleep ins per month)
