RATE: up to 33.30 per hour, based on experience (umbrella)
TYPE: LOCUM Social Worker - Children with Disabilities
TEAM: Children Team
HOURS: This is a Full time role (36 hours per week)
HYBRID: Yes

You will work Under the direction and support of the Assistant Team Manager, you will be working for the Children With Disabilities Team coordinate and provide a service to children who are subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, pre-proceedings or court proceedings. Most of the children you will work with, will have additional needs. You will work in an established team with an experienced permanent manager. You will receive consistent monthly supervision.
You will be expected to be in the office for up to 2 days per week and supported to work from home. You will be provided with laptop and phone to do so. Duty on rota basis: 1 day every other week and office based duty day Having a driving licence and a car is imperative

Social Worker Requirements

- Proven experience in working with childrens services
- Current enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
