Key Responsibilities:

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
Provide support and guidance to students with their personal and academic development
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events
Stay informed of developments within the Health and Social Care sector and incorporate this into lesson content
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and departmental objectives
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in teaching Health and Social Care or a related subject
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
Desirable Criteria:
Experience teaching at both GCSE and A-Level
Familiarity with BTEC or vocational qualifications in Health and Social Care
A commitment to ongoing professional development
