ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher for a supply position at a well-regarded secondary school in Solihull. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons. Solihull is home to a range of high-achieving and supportive secondary schools, known for their strong academic performance, excellent facilities, and commitment to student development. Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5
  • Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
  • Supporting students in their coursework and exam preparation
  • Encouraging real-world application of Health & Social Care principles
  • Working collaboratively with the department to maintain high teaching standards

 

Requirements

The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary or post-16 level
  • A passion for preparing students for careers in health, social work, and related fields
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
