ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher for a supply position at a well-regarded secondary school in Solihull. Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Supporting students in their coursework and exam preparation
- Encouraging real-world application of Health & Social Care principles
- Working collaboratively with the department to maintain high teaching standards
Requirements
The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will have;
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary or post-16 level
- A passion for preparing students for careers in health, social work, and related fields
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
