Your new companySolihull Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to recruit 2 experienced social workers to join their Mental Health team for 3 months in the first instance. Your new roleSolihull Council are looking for 2 x qualified social workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about changing the lives of people with care and support needs, through the promotion of wellbeing and choice, making a real difference whilst enabling adults and young people to increase their independence and have fulfilling lives, free from harm and abuse.As a Mental Health Social Worker, you work closely with our colleagues in the Mental Health Trust as well as the voluntary and independent sector. This is a great time to join the team as we have an exciting new reablement service which is focusing on empowering people to develop their strengths and to remain independent. Your role will be to carry out Social Care Assessments, Reviews, Mental Capacity Assessments and to be involved with Adult Safeguarding.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful you will require, a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). * Current professional registration with Social Work England* minimum of 2 years experience working within adults Social WorkWhat you'll get in returnWorking with Hays, you will receive a bespoke specialist recruitment service with your own personal consultant.
