Principal Accountabilities and Duties:
- Design individual modules or components of moderate scope and complexity in larger system designs
- Moderate scope in design activities using solid understanding of OO programming concepts
- Develop and/or modify individual modules or components of moderate scope and complexity in a larger system architecture
- Ability to understand and reverse engineer existing implementation
- Understand basics on test driven development
- Ability to understand and reverse engineer existing implementation
- Understand basics on test driven development
- Perform unit test planning and execution for own code
- Contribute to test strategy for integration testing
- May create automated unit tests
- Analyses and resolves moderately complex production issues following department guidelines and troubleshooting practices
- Level II support
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software analysis, development, engineering, and support in large corporate setting, including experience with various full cycle software development methodologies, tools, and practices
- Good knowledge on software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Good knowledge of n-tiered architecture
- 2+ years' experience with a programming or scripting language (c#, Java, JavaScript, SQL)
- 2 + years' experience writing/modifying programs for a small to mid-size application
- 2+ years' experience administering and/or configuring an application
- Good understand of DB concepts
- Solid knowledge of debugging code
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure DevOps principles
- 2+ years of Salesforce experience in:
- Force.com platform
- Visualforce
- Workflow
Salary/package:
- £45,000-£50,000 salary
- 10% bonus
- remote working - occasional travel to Solihull for annual/quarterly meet ups
