Learning Support Assistant | Solihull B90 | £95 - £105 | Long Term to Permanent | Immediate Start

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team, supporting students with complex needs and learning challenges, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties. This role is integral to creating an inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support to promote students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and caring environment for all learners.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Use positive reinforcement strategies to help manage challenging behaviours.
  • Foster student independence and self-confidence through tailored skill-building activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs, ideally in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
  • Current safeguarding training is highly desirable.

To Be Eligible for This Role, You Must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new one.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
