Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Stechford. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and a passion for making a positive difference in their education.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students in a nurturing environment that prioritizes holistic development. You will work closely with learners on the autism spectrum, both verbal and non-verbal, to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer individualized support to students with diverse needs, both in classroom settings and beyond.
Assist children in understanding and following teachers' instructions.
Work with individual pupils or small groups, either in the classroom or in the learning support department.
Monitor and record student progress to inform their development plans.

Key Experience:

Previous experience in a teaching or teaching assistant role.
A background in supporting children with SEN, particularly those with ADD/ADHD and autism.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively meet the needs of the students.
An adaptable, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment.

Essential Requirements:

The right to work in the UK.
An enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or the willingness to apply for one.
Two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
