Job Title: Office / Admin & Customer Liaison

Location: Gloucester GL19

Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our small, dynamic team in a fast-paced office environment. As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations and delivering exceptional customer service.The person to fill this role needs to be flexible, hardworking, happy to work at a rural location, have their own transport and committed to working within a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks:

  • Answering the telephone, relaying messages, taking orders, and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Inputting orders and processing invoicing using SAGE 50.
  • Providing customer service support, including checking orders, generating quotes, and handling additional customer requests.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of office activities and IT systems.

Weekly Tasks:

  • Maintaining databases in Excel and ACT (Customer Relationship Management system).
  • Updating the company website as needed.
  • Typing quotes and letters.
  • Running reports and organizing filing.
  • Managing stationery orders and brochure stock.
  • Managing Mailchimp campaigns and mailshots.

Requirements:

  • A proactive and hardworking attitude, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a rural location and access to your own transport.
  • Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with SAGE 50, Excel, and ACT is desirable, but not essential.
